A wonderful client decided she wanted to artistically mark the arrival of a new baby for a very special family, so her vision was for me to capture the atmosphere, the vibe, the feeling of the EXACT DAY that this new little guy took his first breath.

With this sweet baby, God sent just about all the elements that a northern Indiana summer can offer, going from deep, dark, rich storm clouds and rain, to an extraordinary moment of sunshine and rainfall, leading ultimately to a hot, sunny day.

There are some unknowns involved in this precious child’s life and for his family, but they haven’t missed a moment to revel in the gratitude and wonder and blessing that this new life has brought their family. They are embracing the unknown, trusting that their Abba holds them all. They’re celebrating the joy that’s mingling with unpredictability. They’re basking in the richness and beauty of this contrast of life and loving their new little bundle of JOY.

What an exceptionally beautiful vision and what a profound pleasure this was to create.
