Looking for a unique way to honor a loved one’s personal photograph, this client shared the image in the hopes that it could be translated into a painting.

The expansive blue of the sky and the stretched perspective of a road that’s heading for an unknown destination conveys the feeling of a long journey full of new beginnings, unencumbered opportunities, and adventure.

Hitting that sharp perspective of the road, highlighting the gradient sky, painting the amber gold flecks of the fields, and carving out the sage green of the distant mountains helped to bring this special photo and its meaning to life.
