Dreams of salty sea air, sunny skies, and thunderous waves are not uncommon for many in this season of staying home and staying safe. When this client asked her mom what she would like for Christmas, she bittersweetly replied, “a long vacation.” So, this client creatively decided that if she couldn’t help them get to the beach, she would commission a painting for them of their favorite sunny spot in Florida, knowing that for them, nothing could be sweeter than the smell of sunscreen and burying their toes in the Sanibel Island sand.
