A dear friend, her favorite place to reconnect with the world and herself, and a painting commission. This project was a dream come true as I drew from the client’s love of Zion National Park, and meditated on the beauty and wonder she and her new little family are experiencing in their current season of transition, growth, and joy.

Fantastical colors and a sweeping, panoramic composition make for a painting that celebrates the solace to be found in the wild, natural world and the richness that flows through our humble human experience.
