Fire Sky

Fire Sky

Autumn can’t resist showing off. The colors of fall just can’t help but flicker along the tree line, reminding us how vibrant and thrilling it can be to let go. Oh to be a tree - to stand bold and strong, welcoming each phase of arrival and growth while also embracing the beauty of departure. Spring brings leaves that bloom to blanket the trees in green, creating a haven for animals and shelter for their offspring, serving their purpose all the way into Autumn. Autumn is when the trees catch fire.
Autumn: when oranges blaze and golds burn bright against a cyan sky.
Autumn: when trees gently exhale in a melancholy goodbye and leaves dance away with a whispered, “farewell.”
Autumn: when we remember the fire in us that can burn away the old.
Autumn: when we remember it’s natural and beautiful to let some things die.
This elongated sister painting to October Glow depicts expansive opportunity. It showcases a roomy, blazing horizon with much to see and experience if only we will let Autumn in to burn out what may not serving us anymore, making room for the new that will bloom in spring.
