I’m being reminded and more deeply exploring what it means to not only get through seasons that can feel like “darkness,” but to, again, find great beauty and growth and surrender in seasons that may not feel so naturally “light.” I’m believing that life is found in the contrast and that there is beauty growing even at night.

What was I afraid of, exactly, and how much was I missing by reaching reflexively for the lights? Did I have enough faith to explore the dark instead of using faith to bar all my doors? How much more was in store for me if I could learn the walk in the dark?
