Taking the physical step to move outside of our own little corner of the planet and experience (and RESPECT and REVERE) a different environment, city, climate, culture, landscape, or even continent can offer even more than incredible memories and breathtaking views. Embedded in a rich, new experience is a gift that is offered to us on a soul level - the nudge to discover the richness, diversity, and vivacity already within us. Experiences and opportunities to be open and alive and explorative ofter us new glimpses of the powerful texture and depth of each of our souls. 

This painting is piled with layers and layers of varying hues and shades. There are areas of thick paint and drips and brushstrokes and there are portions of hard-edged lines alongside fields of smoky color. Playful and open and adventurous, it all gives way to an uninhibited, abstracted landscape bursting with vivid dimension and life.

The deep, wild, fascinating beauty of the many parts of this world act as a mirror to the raw, captivating richness of the life that exists within each of us. It’s in there. It’s all in there.  All it takes is for us to uncover it. Maybe that means hiking a mountain or writing out your story. Maybe it’s booking a flight tonight or having a brave conversation.
