You felt the twinge of desire to go to the woods. You made the choice to lace up your boots and hike. You decided to let your legs carry you below the canopy of branches.

And here you stand…no longer denying the need to wander, no longer outside the woods looking in, no longer dancing on the line between sunshine and shade, but here: with the heart of the forest in sight. Fear mixed with anticipation, courage mingled with anxiety, pain propelling your discovery.

Feeling the sting of agony and unrest and deciding to make the journey to the heart of the pain, subconscious questions, and unverbalized doubts means making the courageous choice to leave the comfort of dormancy to see what needs to be felt, discovered, and healed.

How long until you let yourself journey to the heart of the forest? When you’re ready, go. You’ll make the journey through to the opposite tree line, to the other edge of the forest, where sunlight dances on your face, again. But you’ll be different. You’ll be more you than you even knew you could be. And you’ll need to go back again, someday, and probably again, and again, but it will only look even more like love and transformation every time.
